This Acceptable Use Policy describes prohibited uses of Checkeroni ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to follow this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

Monitoring only what you are allowed to test

You may only create monitors for systems, domains, endpoints, and infrastructure that you own or have explicit permission to monitor. Do not use Checkeroni to probe third-party services without authorization.

Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service to:

  • Attack, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or network.
  • Send spam, abusive traffic, or excessive requests intended to burden monitored targets or the Service itself.
  • Monitor illegal content or facilitate unlawful activity.
  • Interfere with or circumvent the security or integrity of the Service.
  • Resell, sublicense, or misrepresent the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service in a way that harms Checkeroni, other users, or the reputation of the platform.

Notification channels

You are responsible for the notification destinations you configure, including email addresses, Pushover keys, and webhook URLs. Do not use notification channels to harass others or deliver unsolicited messages.

Status pages

Public status pages must not contain misleading, defamatory, or infringing content. You are responsible for the information published on status pages you create.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action we deem appropriate, including warning you, removing content, disabling monitors, suspending accounts, or terminating access to the Service.
